Charles Harris - Sandhill Turf

Charles Harris of Sandhill Turf in Candor, North Carolina observes. "It has quick, vigorous seed establishment, much better than common. It has

uniform texture and color, and its frost tolerance is good." Harris reports that "It held up well through two frosts this year, one of them in April dropping temperatures from 88 to 26 degrees. It wasn't hurt nearly as bad as the common centipede."
