Certification Program Insures Varietal Purity
TifBlair has been exclusively licensed to The Turfgrass Group, Inc and its sublicensees for sod production. Along with the Georgia Seed Development Commission, TTG is responsible for overseeing the propagation and sale of TifBlair and has assembled a select group of quality-conscious growers throughout the Southeast. As the first and only “Certified Centipede” variety, TifBlair is grown, inspected and sold under a rigorous set of rules and guidelines designed to insure on-going purity and uniformity. The TifBlair “certification tag” is your guarantee that the TifBlair that arrives at your job site is genetically pure and, unlike most common centipedes, will not vary among different seed lots and sources.
TifBlair is regulated by each state Seed Certification Agency, with oversight by The Turfgrass Group. The “blue tag certificate” below is a sample of the certificate you will receive which guarantees that the TifBlair you purchase is genetically pure. Be sure to ask for a certification tag when your TifBlair sod or seed is delivered.
